The Lollar PJ Bass set includes our standard P-Bass Split-Coil and DC J-Bass Bridge pickup for an open top end with plenty of note attack, presence and clarity, with defined low-end frequencies, and matched output balance between the two pickups with completely hum-free operation.

Best pickups I've ever had

I had a custom bass built for me about 3 years ago. In it I had the Lollar p/J pickups put in. It was the best sounding bass I have ever owned. (I've owned over 50 different basses). Sadly I lost that bass in the Maui wildfires. I am currently in the works to have a new bass built. I plan to put the same pickup set in. They are the most well balanced p/j set. The p pickup is big and boomy while staying clear and present. Blending in the j pickup doesn't suck any time from the P. They have been made specifically to remain balanced while running in unison. The J pickup is a lot fuller than any other J bridge pickup I've heard.
