Is your P-Bass pickup priced per pickup? Do I need two?
P-Bass pickups are considered “split coils”. There are two separate coils wired together to function like one, as with a humbucker. They will be hum cancelling for that reason.
With P-Bass pickups, each coil sits beneath two strings (1st and 2nd for one and 3rd and 4th for the other).
The price is for one split-coil pickup, which is all a conventional P-Bass needs.

I installed the Lollar Precision pickup in my Fender Custom Shop '60 Precision. It seems like the bass was waiting for this pickup. It does not put a 'blanket' over your bass like some pickups do. Sounds nice and woody, blissful growl/harmonics and really punchy. I've tested a lot of pickups but Lollar really sounds like what a '60s pickup sounds like today after being played for decades.Great job guys!

I put these in a Fender Vintera 50s style P bass. The stock pickups we're not bad at all, but I've read many reviews about these pickups and wanted to try them. All I can say is "WOW"! Now I understand why these get great reviews. My bass now as a clarity and a new "breath" to the overall sound. These pickups give you that late 50s P bass sound . Just a wonderful pickup that once you hear them, you'll recognize and love the sound that makes P basses the industry standard for music of all different eras. You can't go wrong with a set of these in your P bass. To me, it's the perfect sounding pickup.

I was putting together a P bass build with everything to my specifications from cut, weight, hardware and electronics. I was considering several different split coils but couldn't quite make up my mind. The deciding factor was that I already had such a great experience with Lollar J's that I figured I couldn't go wrong. This turned out to be a great decision because these are just beautiful sounding pickups, one of my favorites in fact. They are rich and complex, great midrange with plenty of punch and a nice bite, indeed truly great pickups.

Put these in my fender P bass (Mexican made). They are a huge upgrade in sound and feel for not a big expense. Much better than the stock pickups. Much more clarity. Highly recommended.

I added this pickup to my Squier 60s vibe p-bass and wow! I love how it sounds with this pickup. It sounds very round and mellow. Highly recommend lollar pickups!

This pickup is in a Nash PB-57, and sounds incredible! It sounds, as it should, like a vintage P Bass but with a more open sound with a full, warm and articulate bass, a magic midrange and highs that just sound right, not brittle or harsh. I have tried many, many P bass pickups in a variety of P basses over the last 45 years and these are just the sound that I have always heard in my head!
