5-String: Similar in tone to our 4-string P-Bass® Split-coil pickup, but made and voiced for 5-string players. Our 5-String P-Bass® pickup offers a unique wind on each coil to ensure an even balance between all five strings. With an open top end, and boosted high-mids for clarity, and defined but controllable sub-frequencies, the 5-string P-Bass® pickup presents a balanced and clear note, even on the lowest strings. Comes with black covers.

Is your P-Bass pickup priced per pickup? Do I need two?
P-Bass pickups are considered “split coils”. There are two separate coils wired together to function like one, as with a humbucker. They will be hum cancelling for that reason.

With P-Bass pickups, each coil sits beneath two strings (1st and 2nd for one and 3rd and 4th for the other).

The price is for one split-coil pickup, which is all a conventional P-Bass needs.
