Melody Maker Pickguards

Because the Lollar Melody Maker P-90 is larger than the original Melody Maker single-coil, installing it requires either modifying or replacing the stock pickguard. We offer Melody Maker pickguards in single-ply black, in both the SG-style and Les Paul-style versions.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Melody Maker pickguards are only suitable for use with the Lollar Melody Maker P-90. We cut pickguards one at a time and they are not eligible for return or exchange.

For SG-style Guitar Body

Pickguards for SG-style Melody Makers are available in two models: single or dual pickup.

For Les Paul-style Guitar Body

For single-pickup guitars there are two different pickguard models—A and B. Likewise, the guitars with two pickups also have two pickguard models—A and B. Though the A and B versions look similar, the control spacing is slightly different—they are not interchangeable.

To determine if you need version A or B, we recommend printing the templates (found at the links under the images below) and laying them over your guitar to verify the correct fit. When printing, make sure that you print actual size and do not use any sort of print scaling, which will change the printed dimensions. The templates have measurements included, so it’s a good idea to measure with a ruler to be sure the dimensions are correct and that your printer did not scale the template by mistake.

Please note that the pickguards are not available as a loaded/prewired assembly. Our Melody Maker pickguards are only available in single-ply black, and we are not able to accommodate custom requests or modifications to the versions we have.
