For our new Lollar t-shirt design we hired renowned underground comics artist Pat Moriarity to do the artwork. Pat came up with an illustration that pays homage to the early days of Lollar Pickups, depicting founder and pickup "wizard" Jason Lollar building pickups late into the night on a custom winding machine he built from sewing machine parts. Pat's artwork is printed on high-quality Comfort Colors® 100% cotton t-shirts. Available in black with white print, and cream with black print.
Now based in the Puget Sound region, Pat got his start in the early 1980s, when he worked for legendary Minneapolis record label Twin/Tone, providing art for bands like The Replacements, Soul Asylum, and The Mekons, and later National Geographic, Columbia Records, and the seminal Seattle alt-weekly The Rocket.
