Our 7-string Strat pickup is available in Tweed, Blonde, Sixty-Four, and Special flat-pole models. The string spacing center-to-center of the outside poles is 2.39" (6.1 cm) and individual pole spacing center-to-center is 0.398" (1.01 cm). Measurement center-to-center of the mounting holes is 3.45" (8.8 cm).

For all 7-string Strat models we recommend 250k potentiometers and 0.022μF capacitors.

Lollar Special S Series^® 7-string

Our Strat Special 7-string offers a higher output Strat® pickup design with a deep thick tone, round highs, and smooth bottom that approaches a "Gibsonish" attack and sustain. Less quack than other, lower output strat pickups when in positions 2 and 4. Output is noticeably higher and will break up most amps a little faster and harder than typical Strat pickups. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4.

Vintage Sixty-Four 7-string

Pre-CBS 60's Strat®-style wind. Classic Strat tone with full body and punch. Overall tone has a prominent midrange, clear treble and a full bass that has a defined piano-like attack. Scatter wound wax potted coils with Alnico 5 magnets degaussed to typical vintage 60's strat pickup specs. Features medium output and flat poles with vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4.

Vintage Blonde^® 7-string

Our Strat Blonde 7-string pickups are bright but smooth. You get a scooped midrange and full bass with smooth attack, while the medium low output sounds glassy, chimey, and spanky. Play soft and get a round, smooth tone; hit it hard and the attack and treble will come forward in the mix. Works well with overdrives. Alnico 2 flat poles, scattered wound, wax potted coils. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4.

Vintage Tweed^® 7-string

Our Strat Tweed 7-string pickups are very clean and "Stratty," sounding while light on bass and mids and with lots of "quack." Great for overdrives with extra mids, or diming out a smaller amp. Tone will not get muddy under heavy distortion. Low output will not make many vintage amps distort more than a mild clipping. Made with Alnico 2 flat poles, scatter wound, wax potted coils and vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4.
