Wound to sound similar to original early-‘60s pickups, our Jaguar®-style pickup offers improved bass fidelity and definition in the neck position. It also delivers a fuller, fatter tone in the bridge position.

Avg. DC: Neck 5.8K, Bridge 6.3K (Read about DC resistance)
Recommended Capacitor: 0.047μF
Recommended Potentiometers: 250k or 1meg 1meg pots are "vintage correct" and give a brighter overall tone than 250k pots, but either will work. It's a matter of preference.

The definition and bass response in the neck is wonderful. The bridge is fuller but not in a way that takes away the magic of the Jaguar signature tone. Both positions balance very nicely. Makes my Jag a delight to play. A worthy investment.

I contacted Lollar a couple of years ago in inquiry about pickups for my Fender MIJ Bass VI. Austin set me up with a 3-piece set with a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup. The improvement over the MIJ PU’s was significant. And they seem to get better witone does it all from “tic tack” style to the dark twangorama theknown for. I bought a second set for my other Bass VI. I have compared to my friends vintage 63, and there are subtle differences, but the Lollars hold up magnificently and produce what I feel is a fuller bass tone fonomenal tone. Again, an amazing product from Jason and team.
