Similar to the pickups found in ‘70s-era Les Paul® Deluxes, our Mini-Humbuckers draw heavily from our standard Imperials®, but the Minis have lower output, less low end and a tighter attack. We’ve also minimized the microphonics commonly found in the 1970s originals to help reduce feedback issues.
NOTE: Using one of our Soapbar/LP Deluxe mounting rings, our Mini-Humbuckers can also be installed as direct drop-in replacements for guitars with standard P-90 soapbar routs.

'50s-style Pre-wired Kit for Les Pauls
Upgrading the electronics in a Les Paul® yourself couldn’t be easier than it is with our Lollar Pre-wired Kits. The kits are hand-wired in our shop and meet Jason Lollar’s preferred specifications. This kit can be used in just about any Les Paul equipped with two pickups that each have their own volume and tone controls.
Whether you’re installing new pickups and want high-quality electronics to go with them, or you want to upgrade the stock electronics in your Les Paul®, our pre-wired kits are a great option. We’ve done most of the work so all that’s left for you to do is install the kit in your guitar and solder in your pickups, output jack and switch.

I have these in a Collings 290 that came with them in the neck and bridge. I used to really like my Les Paul which has 57 classics but these pickups are just a cut above in tonal quality. Very sweet, fat, clear, and have bite. As always with lollar you know the quality is top notch. The in between setting with both neck and bridge is especially good. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Replaced the P-90s in an Epiphone 57 Goldtop (perfect fit with creme rings) and this is now my favorite guitar.
Beautiful until pushed, and then clean but punchy.

Replaced a SD mini bucker neck pickup in a 52 Fender American Vintage. It made it sing and a funk machine. I love how the pick attack comes through with the meaty balance of "slight hum bucking" and "single coil."

Minis are under-utilized and misunderstood. These combine the best qualities of humbuckers, P90s, and single coils in one package. Unbeatable clarity, crunch, cleanup, and sweetness. I have a pair in a Gibson LP Deluxe and a Heritage H-150. They can do it all from chickin-pickin' to hard rock. Get yourself a pair as you will not be disappointed.
